JOB DUTIES - MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50# REGULARLY

• Before the start of the shift the operator must visually inspect the equipment to ensure that it is properly working.
• Request the product Specification Sheet and Product Batch Sheet for the products that are scheduled to run from his supervisor or QC Inspector.
• Check the raw materials to verify they are the correct according to the spec sheet for the product.
• Notify QC about any deviations.
• Use Tortilla Chip Batch Report, by Product, as a record of all batches made:

• Operator will record his or her name along with the date and shift in the heading portion of the form.
• Record the time for each batch made along with the ingredient, amount and lot number.

• The area shall be maintained on an ongoing basis and free of floor waste and debris. This area is from the wall behind the mixer to the end of the conveyor before entering the fryer.
• Prior to the end of the shift, remove all the trash and clean excess masa waste and debris from mixer, and transport dollies.
• Follow waste handling guidelines for the proper recording of waste.
• Follow GMP guidelines, color coding policy protocols, and proper use of utensil & measuring devices.
• Brush the outside of ingredient bags of any debris using the brush dedicated for this task prior to opening.
• Use only company issued knives for opening ingredient bags.
• Open and exposed damaged ingredient bags must be removed and set aside according to the damaged ingredient bag procedure.
• Report any issues that may occur to the production supervisor.
• Upon shift change inform the personnel of the oncoming shift of any problems or concerns experienced during the shift.

Pay: From $18.75 per hour
