This is First Shift with standard Working Hours: 8:00 am-4:30 pm, and overtime eligible.
$1,000 sign on bonus available

Looking for a Material Handler in our Supply Chain Warehouse to assist with shipping and receiving activities and provide a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain. Key responsibilities for our first shift Material Handler include, but are not limited to receiving, shipping, cycle counts, and inventories in support of plant operations.
What You’ll Do
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, trucks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks
- Prepares items for shipment as required by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing material goods
- Communicates with vendors regarding delays or problems as required
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages in accordance with Watts standard operating procedures
- Maintains active inventory management system through cycle counts and visual inspections
- Processes returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items, locates and packs materials for shipping
- Maintains records of orders, delivery details, organizes and stores received items in appropriate areas, updates and adjusts inventory stock level quantities as needed
- Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priorities
- Documents return shipments utilizing various tracking methods
- Maintain warehouse safety, organization, and cleanliness
- Operates site scanner as needed
- Other duties as assigned by site leadership
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient math skills
- Basic computer skills to perform computer-related transactions
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Previous stock and inventory control experience a plus
- Valid US Driver’s License and safe driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of thirty-five (35) pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work overtime as needed
