All About You

Responsibilities

The Production Supervisor will provide leadership and supervision to all of the operators on the shift. The Production Supervisor will meet the regulatory and company requirements for safety and environmental issues as well as develop a sense of ownership among the team members. The Production Supervisor will inspire the autonomous teams to be active in identifying and trying to resolve problems while using Saft Excellence System (SES) tools to improve the manufacturing process and improve the manufacturing variances. The Production Supervisor will ensure the timely delivery of quality product and needed documentation that meets the product and quality specifications. The Production Supervisor will ensure the timely delivery of quality products to our customers and be responsible for the activities, reporting and communication to persons on the shift and in other areas of the organization.

• Will provide leadership to all employees on shift to promote involvement in the autonomous team to highlight production and quality issues.
• Will develop the team to a sense of ownership about the workstations, product made and meeting the internal and external customer needs.
• Will supervise all operators on shift and develop a schedule to flex operators through workstations.
• Will lead the autonomous teams to focus on tangible results that reduce scrap and material variance while using problem solving and other SES tools to resolve issues.
• Will meet all regulatory and company requirements for safety and environmental. Will provide safe work habits and compliance to safety rules and signs.

Requirements

• College diploma in Industrial management
• 5 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience or education
• ISO 9100
• Leading autonomous teams
• Lean manufacturing

• Industrial engineering
• Hazwoper
