WOW Logistics Loves Park, IL is now hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Lead!

WOW Logistics is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented person for this lead position. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the coordination and daily performance of the distribution center and reports directly to the Shift Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily operations
• Holding employees accountable to customer and company SOPs
• Customer service, daily customer interaction and problem solving
• Inventory, problem solving inventory discrepancies
• Operate multiple types of MHE and various attachments as required
• Act as an Operations Coordinator when needed
• Ability to effectively navigate WMS system
• Upload documents to company SharePoint as required
• Assisting Leadership team in managing daily shipping and receiving volumes and required labor
• Leading hourly staff
• Following and enforcing company policies
• Support of company goals

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Open to last minute schedule changes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be dependable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly
• Previous experience in a leadership role with coaching and mentoring employees
• Ability to think strategically and take ownership
• Must have the ability to work alone and with others under busy conditions

Hours

1st Shift 5:00am to 1:30pm Monday – Friday (overtime may be required)
