Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  Delivery of evidence-based education, behavior, and mental health services.
• Utilization of clinical knowledge and skills to assess for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) diagnoses and inform treatment.
• Support for scholars via a range of treatment modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy.
• Mental health crisis intervention and making appropriate referrals.
• Adaptation of interventions to fit scholar needs and campus/district priorities, and routine evaluation of the effectiveness of policies, programs, and practices.
• Maximization of access to school-based and community-based resources.
• Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and compliance with state and federal law.
• Maintain adequate safeguards for the privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Promotion of a school climate and culture conducive to student learning and teaching excellence.

Qualifications:

• Valid professional license required (LMSW/LCSW, LPC).
• Minimum conversational Spanish/preferred fluent Spanish.
• Two years of experience providing social work services in school settings.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with teachers to support students and a deep-seated belief in the mission of Austin Achieve.
