Job Details for the Sr. Claims Processor:


  • Mon - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • $23 /hr
  • Direct Hire
  • Full Benefits


Job Responsibilities & Description for the Sr. Claims Processor: As the Sr. Claims Processor you'll be responsible for assisting the management team with billing processes and providing training assistance to the support staff.


  • Point of contact for issues with billing
  • Responsible for coordinating and assisting with training new hires
  • Bill all medical invoices
  • Review monthly reports and address issues


Job Requirements for the Sr. Claims Processor:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of experience in medical insurance verification with all payer types including Medicare, Medicaid and third- party commercial insurance companies
  • Previous experience at Highmark, Premier Medical, UPMC, Excela Health, Butler Health, Med Express is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel along with excellent communication skills
