Doral Academy of Northern Nevada is seeking a highly qualified, experienced and dynamic 2nd Grade teacher to serve at our K-8 campus. Reporting to the School Principal, we are seeking applicants who will be actively engaged and involved beyond the classroom as a member of a student-centered, arts-integrated, dynamic school community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching language arts using curriculum with integrity and with an integration of arts and project based learning.
• Fostering the development of the whole child by guiding and supporting the social, emotional, physical, intellectual and ethical development of our students
• Serving as an active member of the school community and working collaboratively with staff across the school.
• Attending regular professional learning and applying learning directly to the classroom.

Job Qualifications

• Nevada Teaching License or can obtain a license
• Highly Qualified status in Elementary Education (or a plan in place to become highly qualified)
• Experience in Elementary Education
• Authorized to work in the United States

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
