Looking for people with inventory and material handling experience for a great position in Minneapolis!

• Direct Hire – Stores Attendant (Part of Inventory Management Team)
• 2nd shift Monday – Friday, 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
• $18+ DOE ($2.00 shift differential)

• Saturday is paid at time and a half, Sundays are paid at double time!

Overview:

The Stores Attendant maintains accurate inventory levels, receives and delivers shipments, and safely transports materials and equipment throughout the facility using various types of hand trucks, forklifts or overhead cranes.

 Uses SAP to perform cycle counting, create pick lists, issue jobs, issue bulk items, return shop production orders, subcontract orders, locate items, and receive items into the company.

 Receives and delivers physical shipments.

 Safely uses overhead and jib crane by following pre-op inspection checklists, using crane, hand signals, correct hoist rings and chains.

 Using overhead cranes, performs straight, manipulated/tipping, specialty and multi crane lifts for all products across all departments.

 Completes necessary QA/Customer documentation.

 Lift and move materials using forklift, pallet jack, overhead crane or jib crane.

 Demonstrates a commitment to Continuous Improvement by identifying opportunities in day to day work.

 Performs to ISO 9001 Quality Standards and abides to OSHA and EPA regulations.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

 High School degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year warehouse/manufacturing experience.

 Ability to be certified in overhead and Jib crane operation and forklift operation.

 Requires basic typing and computer skills, ability to learn SAP.

 Occasionally uses repetitive motions including the wrists, hands or fingers to operate computers, machinery or tools.

 Routinely moves from one work station to another to accomplish tasks.
