Birchwood Manufacturing Company, a division of Besse Forest Products Group, is hiring highly motivated, team-oriented individuals to become part of our team for our Veneer Mill Maintenance department at our facility in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Besse Forest Products Group is a successful forest products company with sawmill and veneer mills in Northern Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Mechanical background
- Ability to diagnose & troubleshoot
- Ability to repair veneer manufacturing equipment
- Ability to do preventative maintenance on all industrial equipment
- Be available to work overtime when requested
- Practice safety in the workplace
- Complete all required documentation and take ownership
- Applicants must be detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use arms above head
- Ability to climb ladders
