Job description
JOB SUMMARY: This position reports directly to the Packaging Manager and is responsible for a quality checks and overseeing a team of packaging associates. The Packaging Lead would be providing, coaching and training to all new and existing packaging associates and to ensure the departments follows compliance with the company policy, laws and rules governed by the state.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and team members in areas including punctuality, attendance, records, discipline, performance reviews, and training.
- Tracking team members metrics for pace and quality of work, ensuring that the team is doing work that is assigned to them.
- Fluent in Excel, Word, Outlook
- Comfortable with Computers
- Proficient in Math.
- Divide and direct the team as necessary to ensure all tasks are accomplished.
- Constant improvement of the team's efficiency and performance
- Report on daily activities and production to the packaging manager
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond to changing deadlines and priorities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to drive CI initiatives
- Good Time Management.
- Other duties as assigned
