A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A 3RD SHIFT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR
As the 3rd Shift Mechanic Supervisor, you organize the schedules of our maintenance staff. You get along well with our production group and team members, while consistently administering company policies and procedures. You're sure to keep accurate records of the inventory, and of the maintenance and repair work performed during the graveyard shift.
You love to come up with new ideas and methods to improve our efficiencies. When management approves your ideas, you give them a go! Keeping our food processing equipment in good condition fills you with pride - after all, we're helping to feed families!
WHAT IS REQUIRED?
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in food production or related industries
- Technical skills in mechanical and electrical repair
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to make decisions quickly
