JOB ID: 4020 – .5 FTE Early Childhood Special Ed Teacher (ECSE) – Part-Time position at the NCEC beginning on 8/21/2023.
Scheduled hours/days: 8:00 am -12:00 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. MWF work hours as arranged with supervisor.
Qualifications Required: MN License in Early Childhood Special Education B-6 by the Minnesota Professional Educators Licensing and Standards Board.
Duties: Develops and provides specialized instruction/early intervention services to children in a variety of settings including co-teaching or consulting Tues. and Thurs. mornings in a preschool classroom; evaluating and serving children ages B-5 within the home environment and/or ECSE programs, Integrated preschool, or community setting; evaluates and assesses student academic, adaptive, and behavioral progress; functions as an IFSP/IEP case manager to assigned students. Work within a team environment and interact with community agencies.
