Job description
***For a limited time a $1000 signing bonus will provided to already credentialed RBTs who are available for fulltime employment (32 hours or more). A $500 signing bonus will be provided to non credentialed employees, once RBT training is completed.***

Cornerstone is one of the leading pediatric therapy clinics in the metro area, providing an all inclusive therapeutic support system to children with developmental disabilities. Using a unique interdisciplinary approach, we provide our clients with access to a team of behavior analysts, neuropsychologists, counselors, speech pathologists, and technicians.
Technicians at Cornerstone implement behavioral care plans written by Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBAs). Under the guidance and supervision of a BCBA, the technician will provide one-on-one teaching/intervention services to children diagnosed with autism.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate competence in the areas on the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Task List including but not limited to:
- Measurement
- Assessment
- Skill Acquisition
- Behavior Reduction
- Professional Conduct and Scope of Practice.
- Adhere to supervision requirements
- Communicate with parents and other caregivers regarding client progress
- Provide clinical and pertinent information to supervisors
- Collect and enter daily data in to an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Clinical Training/Supervision Expectations:
- Works collaboratively with BCBA, Lead Behavior Technician , and other primary therapists to gain familiarity with clients’ treatment plans
- Report any clinical limitations that may impede client’s therapeutic progress to Director of Programs, Director of Therapy, BCBA or the appropriate primary therapist
- Demonstrates mastery in knowledge of basic behavior analytic principles (as outlined by BCBA)
- Demonstrates understanding of various behavior analytic teaching methods (as outlined by BCBA)
- Demonstrates understanding of 1:1 direct therapy guidelines
- Demonstrates advanced observational skills during training sessions
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of client’s progress data and graphic representation
- Assist BCBA and primary therapists in data collection procedures as requested
Team Work
- Ask questions of others to seek clarity and understanding both individually and in group situations; seek guidance from the Director of Programs, Director of Therapy, and the BCBA.
- Self-Management: Perform assigned tasks and job duties with confidence while knowing professional limits and requesting assistance when necessary.
- Consistently model a positive, motivating demeanor.
- Use skills in team-building and communicate effectively and efficiently to assist peers.
- Work closely with the BCBAs, and Lead RBTs to develop skills while providing quality therapy.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Possess quality written and verbal communication skills.
- Actively pursue, participate and complete a company funded Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) program and pass the RBT examination; within 45 days of being hired.
