Academic Tutor
We are currently looking for tutors to travel to students’ homes in your neighbourhood for one-on-one tutoring which involves clarifying and teaching subject matter, as well as assessing the student’s knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis. We are looking for tutors who care about the progress of our students and who can teach them to have a positive relationship with learning.
Tutor Doctor is seeking experienced and reliable individuals with a passion for education to join our team of phenomenal tutors.

- Highschool level Tutors: English IB program and SAT test Prep.

Qualifications:
- Someone who is in (or has completed) at least two years of post-secondary education
- Ability to travel to student’s homes
- Strong academic history
- Enjoy sharing of knowledge
- Creative
- Patient
- Excellent communication skills
- Dependability and professionalism
- Valid Drivers License
- Knowledge of teaching techniques and learning styles preferred
- Tutoring experience (formal or informal) preferred
- Coaching or mentoring is okay too!
