College Living Experience (CLE) provides transition supports to young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and other varying exceptionalities.
This position is responsible for working directly with the assigned student(s) to
provide individualized instruction in the applicable subject matter to assure
successful completion of the coursework.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

___1. Consistently provides comprehensive, effective instruction to assigned
student(s) in the applicable subject matter, evaluating the student’s needs
and tailoring the tutoring session to accommodate those needs.
___2. Completes a careful review of the syllabus with the student to determine
and establish a timeline for covering the necessary material throughout
the semester.
___3. Completes a note in Best Notes for each student he/she meets with,
answering the following questions.
___4. Teaches student(s) to utilize strategies to reduce large quantities of
information into smaller fragments, allowing those students who are
unable to comprehend or assimilate massive amounts of course material
to digest the information on a less challenging level.

Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field or other related area with two years
of relevant experience, preferably working with special needs students, is required.
