The Accountant I for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Marketing Accounting team, reporting to the Marketing Accounting Supervisor. This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

Perform marketing accounting functions related to Apache domestic oil and gas properties
Actualizing oil, gas, and ngl volumes marketed by Apache in Endur for integration of pricing and deduct data to the revenue department
Perform Settlements functions including invoicing, interface with counterparties, and ensure timely payment to Apache for gas, oil and ngl sales
Responsible for payment of transportation invoices, Accounts Receivable and other balance Sheet Reconciliations
Interface with multiple groups and individuals, both internal and external to Apache Corporation Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting; other field of study will be considered when combined with a minimum of 12 completed accounting hours
At least some professional experience in accounting preferred
Oil and gas industry experience beneficial
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Oil & Gas Marketing Accounting experience a plus
Knowledge and experience with Endur a plus
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, management, administrative, organizational, and leadership skills
Experience implementing sound decisions when faced with multi-faceted problems. Competencies
