Job Overview:
A well-established and growing business (company information not disclosed) is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Quickbooks, e-commerce, inventory, and light manufacturing experience. As the sole person responsible for managing the company's books, the successful candidate will play a vital role in our financial operations and will be expected to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes, including but not limited to A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Quickbooks.
- Oversee e-commerce transactions, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation.
- Manage inventory and cost accounting for light manufacturing processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow projections.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and company information.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on e-commerce and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Experience in light manufacturing accounting is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of financial and company information.
