Job Title: Accounting Manager
Department: Finance - Accounting
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager. This role will report to a AVP & Controller and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry. This is a hybrid role where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis.
What You'll Do:
- The Accounting Manager oversees daily operations of the assigned entities that includes but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, etc
- Manages staff of Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, and Accounts Payable Specialist
- Ensures integrity of the financial statements which are critical to the organization
- Coordinates and facilitates audits of financial statements and other statutory reporting
- Identifies staff training needs and works with the accounting team and IT department to ensure educational tools are available to the staff
- Develops and mentors staff, monitors job performance and offers feedback and assistance when needed
- Monitors departmental policies and procedures on an ongoing basis
- Offers suggestions to improve efficiency and accuracy in all accounting functions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 - 7 years accounting and finance experience in a management/supervisory role, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Advanced knowledge in the use of financial applications including spreadsheets, database and working knowledge of GAAP
You're great for this role if:
- Have 2 - 3 years in public accounting experience
- Healthcare industry experience
- Have SOX 404 experience
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 process

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The position is located at 1668 S. Garfield Ave. 2ndFloor, Alhambra, CA 91801.
- This position's schedule will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays in office.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $125,000 - $140,000. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
