Scheduled Hours: 0730-1600 (Saturday/Sunday off) Work Area: Timekeeping

St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center - South is looking for a positive and energetic Accounts Assistant.

Responsibilities:

The timekeeper is responsible for reviewing and processing payroll for the employees of the St Louis Treatment Center North Campus. The job duties include reconciling the employee’s timesheet to ensure employees are paid accurately. Processing final paychecks when a staff has left the facility, Updating and maintaining state and federal compensation spreadsheets along with other proprietary spreadsheets; prepare supplemental checks; add revenue checks onto a check list in a Access database; answer staff questions regarding their paycheck, annual leave, sick leave and any compensation time that is earned. The timekeeper assist managers with reconciling time in the Careware System.

Key Skills

• Intermediate knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
• Introductory knowledge of financial recordkeeping principles, practices, and terminology.
• Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations.
• Ability to accurately maintain records utilizing automated and manual accounting systems.
• Ability to use office equipment, personal computer, and automated systems.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Eligibility:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed)
