Accounts Payable Associate
$45,000 - $52,000 per year (depending on experience)

The Accounts Payable Associate role will be responsible for providing data entry and clerical services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment to vendors and maintain an up-to-date payables system. This is a collaborative role, where the AP associate will work with various departments including Leadership, Production and Vendors.
Position Location
This role will be on-site during the training period with future plans for hybrid options once training is complete.

Accounts Payable Associate

The Accounts Payable Associate role will be responsible for providing data entry and clerical services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment to vendors and maintain an up-to-date payables system. Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Enter all payables for the local office branch into accounting software
- Gather and record job costs
- Complete and distribute vendor and Sub Contractor payments and customer payments
- Record and complete payment of overhead billing
- Responsible for recording transactions on corporate credit card
- Complete and close jobs in our main operating system, RMS, and accounting software
- Complete payments and maintain accounts for national vendor accounts
- Reconcile job costs and payables from RMS to accounting software
- Answer calls from vendors/trades
- Enter new losses as they come in
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Two plus years’ experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounting role
- Experience with QuickBooks and Sage Intacct
- Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 100% of the time
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
- Must be able to communicate and converse with vendors/trades over the phone
