Job description
Craig Stein Beverage’s Boise office is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable (AP) to join our administrative team. The position provides financial and administrative support by receiving, completing, and processing outgoing payments in a timely manner. Accounts Payable is also responsible for verifying and reconciling financial invoices. The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconcile payable invoices with supporting backup documents
- Communicate with third parties to resolve outstanding payments and payment discrepancies
- Assist in providing administrative coverage support in various areas
- Ability to match paperwork, quantities, and pricing as well as confirming
- Ability to send emails to various suppliers and the Purchasing team
- Additional financial support tasks assigned by Controller and Administration Supervisor
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- High School Diploma, additional education in Accounting or Finance is a plus
- One year of Accounts Payable or Accounting/Financial Support experience in an Office setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- General understanding of basic accounting and finance principles
- Ability to understand complex verbal and written communication
- A high degree of professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well with the Warehouse/Delivery department
- Planning, prioritizing, organizational, and time management skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and agility test
Pay and Benefits:
- $17/hr. – $18.50/hr. DOE
