Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 2:00 pm, in Office

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following.
- Code payables for review and approval by Office Manager
- Post coded payables
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Cut and mail checks to vendors by their due dates
- General payable run on the 10th of each month for all other statement vendors
- Reconcile credit card accounts.
- Turn in payable schedule with appropriate notation on aging items on the 10th and last day of the month.
- Maintain W9’s
- Assist with 1099 filing at year end
- Send out AR statements on the 25th of each month
- Maintain past due spreadsheet and follow up on all past due accounts until collected.
- Turn in accounts receivable schedule with appropriate notation on aging items on the 25th and the last day of the month.
- Support office staff with collection efforts on all past due receivables.
- Understands, supports, and promotes company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintains a positive and ethical working relationship with all employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors, and customers.
- Exercises professionalism, integrity, fairness, transparency, and ethics all throughout the auto group.
- Maintains a neat and professional appearance and organized working space.
- Other duties as assigned by the office manager or general manager.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Preferred one to three years related experience. Knowledge of administrative tasks, office equipment, proficiency in MS Office, time management skills, ability to prioritize work, attention to detail, ability to problem solve, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task. Other skills needed follow below.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, detailed correspondence, and memos. Ability to write professional correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Understanding of general accounting principles.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
