Job Purpose & Summary

The Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist (ARCS) is responsible for ensuring the company receives all necessary payments from delinquent customers. Duties include monitoring accounts receivable statements, discussing the status with the sales team, and contacting customers to notify them of overdue payments. In addition, the ARCS and Staff Accountant will partner together to back up the Accounts Receivable Specialist with any core accounts receivable work based on business needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts receivable, identify overdue accounts, and escalate any pertinent information to the Controller, COO, and VP of Sales.
• Maintain record of contact and attempted contacts for delinquent customers as well as any customer payments collected.
• Investigate and resolve any customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
• Contact customers that are 90 days past due, notify of delinquency, and work to collect payment.
• Manage and upload invoices into the on-line portal.
• Process monthly statements and send to customers as business needs require.

Education / Work Experience & Requirements

• Minimum of two years of accounts receivable experience.
• Demonstrated analytical abilities to assist with data analysis, financial discussions, etc.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Intermediate Excel skills) and ERP system
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• High performer and problem solver that is a self-starter with personal accountability and follow-through.

Travel & Physical Requirements

• No Travel.
• Desk and computer work required.
• Lifting required up to 50 lbs.
