Job description
CACI is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support an Army Product Manager at Fort Belvoir, VA. The Acquisition Analyst will provide technical leadership to the processes of contracting management and development of contractual documentation. Manages acquisition activities and contract actions across the portfolio and recommends solutions for complex problems; responsible to modify or improve processes, communicates across the organization and with outside stakeholders and possesses leadership and management knowledge.
What you’ll get to do:
- Coordinates constantly throughout the organization to adequately track and manage all contract actions and activities
- Assists the Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder with development of purchase requests and other applicable documentation
- Coordinates products and taskings across the acquisition phases
- Assists with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents such as Requests for Information, Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Statements of Objectives, Requests for Proposals, and Independent Government Cost Estimates, and other acquisition documents
- Coordinates meetings and activities with Army Contracting Command and within the organization
- Leads tasks supporting pre award contracts, financial management, risk management, and contract coordination
- Coordinates contracting actions with local procurement contracting officers
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Understanding of DoD 5000 series requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 10-12 years of related experience
- Experience commensurate with DAWIA Level II certification in acquisition career field, OR PMP Certification
- Working knowledge of SharePoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work with others
- Demonstrated technical, analytical and problem solving skills, excellent time management, and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously
