Looking for an ideal candidate to fill our Director of Activities Position!
The Activities Director we are looking for would be able to:
- Effectively plan, direct, and schedule monthly activity programs for groups, individuals, and individuals. These activites would be based on the capabilities and interests of our residents, and all residents would be made aware via a calendar.
- Direct our team leaders to implementing the programs designed by the Director and put them in place.
- Create volunteer programs, and bring in members of the community to help out with daily activities.
- Interview new residents and get their initial assessment ready. The director should have some background knowledge of medical documentation.
- Attend and schedule resident care p[lanning meetings as well as review/track the activites that resident's participate in.
Minimum Requirements:
COTA or 2 years full-time experience in a patient care activities program in a long term care setting.
