Position Description
The Division of Public and Behavioral Health is recruiting to fill an Administrative Services Officer 2 position within the Cost Allocation Unit in Carson City. This position is responsible for administering the federally approved cost allocation plan for the Division in accordance with the Uniform Admirative Requirements (OMB Super Circular) and Division policies and procedures. In addition, this position analyzes, reviews, and updates the cost allocation statistics on a quarterly basis by working with assigned Administrative Service Officers and program staff. This position supervises three positions; Budget Analyst III who is responsible for administering the Federally approved indirect Rate Agreement for the Division in accordance with Federal guidelines; Management Analyst II who is responsible for Time & Effort tracking for the Divisions personnel; and Accountant Technician I who assists the other positions in gathering information required to complete tasks in the Cost Allocation Unit.
The candidate must have experience with cost allocation and federal indirect rate setting.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, accounting, finance or related field and four years of professional experience including two years of responsibility for major business operations/functions such as grants administration, contract and lease administration, purchasing and warehouse operations, human resources, Information Technology or facilities maintenance and construction; and two years of experience formulating, developing and analyzing program or agency budgets; and fiscal management; one year of which was equivalent to an Administrative Services Officer I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

- The exam will consist of a rating of training and experience weighted 100%.
