Pay Grade/Pay Range: 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 36,088.00 Midpoint - $ 52,686.40

Department/Organization: 401101 - VP Community Affairs

Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant provides high-level, confidential administrative support to a member of the executive level management of the University of Alabama to ensure that the activities and missions of the division support the overall mission of the University. Manages the office of the executive to include supervision of office staff; oversees maintenance of all files, records, and reports. May develop/oversee special projects. Oversees/works on special projects. Serves as the liaison for the executive to a diverse group including the administration, faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni, and/or donors.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and five (5) years of experience; OR Associate’s degree and three (3) years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or higher and one (1) year of experience.
