Job description

We are seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant, internally called Report Processor to join our staff in the DC office. We need a team player who is excellent at multi-tasking, detail oriented and completes daily tasks on a timely basis.

Specific duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to-

  • Observe and uphold a standard of absolute confidentiality regarding the personal information of IMAs clients, and all corporate data that may be disclosed as a necessary part of the employees work function.
  • Ensuring doctors are dictating claimant reports within IMA timeframe.
  • Retrieve transcribed reports from the IMA portal.
  • Keep track of ancillary testing results to make sure they are received timely and incorporated into the report.
  • Review reports to ensure all sections of exam or testing are complete, editing and correcting when necessary.
  • Print out reports and give to appropriate doctor for review and sign.
  • Make changes indicated by doctors on reviewed reports.
  • Upload reports according to the IMA upload portal.
  • Act as backup to the receptionist for telephone answering and working the front desk.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

Required- High School diploma

Preferred- Associate degree in Medical or Secretarial Science

EXPERIENCE


Required- Administrative assistant with Microsoft Office proficiency including Microsoft Office, scanner, facsimile, intra- and internet proficiency.


Preferred- Medical secretarial background
