Administrative Officer II, Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention - Santa Monica

In this important position, you will manage administrative, clinical, educational, research, and other related services for our Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention section. This will involve directing operational programs and activities, reviewing operational workflows and budgets, and identifying areas for continuous improvement. You will plan and implement special projects requiring in-depth analysis, evaluation, and interpretation. You will also ensure operational and clinical efficiency while maintaining compliance with relevant policies. In addition, you will perform a wide variety of other general office-related duties.
UCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles as well as the David Geffen School of Medicine.
- This will be a hybrid position. Employee will be required to work 1-3 days per week on site in Santa Monica, CA per week or as needed.
Salary range: $28.62-$45.66 Hourly
- Ability to act as liaison to faculty, staff, patients, families, and other visitors
- Ability to assess situations, anticipate problems, gather information, and recommend solutions
- Ability to design, modify, and generate spreadsheets, create formulas, modify formats, and run reports in Excel
- Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues
- Ability to speak in a concise, diplomatic, and respectful manner
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritizing skills
- Expertise in financial analysis, planning, preparation and administration for a budget with multiple complex funding sources
- Management skills to maintain and organize complex ongoing projects
- Skill in handling sensitive materials and confidential information with discretion and tact
- Strong customer service, analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities
We prefer that our ideal candidate possess the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration
- Relevant working experience for this role in a healthcare setting
