This position is located at the Pickens County Clinic, 337 West Main Street, Easley, SC 29640 of the Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center, 200 McGee Road, Anderson, SC 29625.


As an Administrative Specialist II, serves as Receptionist at the Pickens County Mental Health Clinic independently performing a variety of advanced administrative duties.

Duties may include but not limited to:

1. Execute advanced front office duties in an accurate, timely and efficient manner treating all patients with dignity and respect.

2. Check patients in and out respectively, schedule doctor appointments, make reminder calls and update patient information as needed. Will request payment for services rendered.

3. Responsible for receiving phone consults - will notify team leader by email upon receipt and file completed consults by the month in shared folders.

4. Serve as cashier.

5. Provides back-up coverage for Medical Records, Patient Intake and Data Entry Clerk areas as needed.

6. Performs other duties as required.

State Requirement: A high school diploma or GED.

Agency Requirements: A high school diploma and two years of clerical experience; or an associate degree in secretarial science of other related field, or three years clerical experience.

Center Additional Preferred: Office experience in a medical or mental health setting.
