Basic Qualifications :
Minimum of 25 weeks of military technical training school, along with an additional four years of related experience is required. OR, two years of directly related non-military technical trade school or the equivalent experience, along with an additional four years of related experience is required. OR, Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or the equivalent experience is required. Industry certifications are highly preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position:

As an Advanced Field Support Representative, you’ll install and repair equipment; instruct customers in equipment operation; provide technical assistance; and check equipment for malfunctions. You’ll essentially conduct site and equipment inspections in order to perform preventative and corrective maintenance as well as conduct technical seminars and training for customer or company personnel, informal on-the-job training for other field service staff members and customers, and over-the-shoulder/refresher training to users in the field as required. We’ll rely on you to diagnose and repair mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. You’ll be expected to interface with customers, military personnel, government dignitaries, external consultants/experts, all levels of employees across the company, including executive management.

Working independently, you’ll install and repair equipment, instruct customers in equipment operation, provide technical assistance, and check equipment for malfunctions. As the Advanced Field Support Representative, you’ll conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Basically, you’ll troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solutions, and recommend actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. You’ll also assess product needs in accordance with customer specifications, as well as conduct technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. What you bring to the table:
  • Minimum of 25 weeks of military technical training school, along with an additional 6 years of related experience is required. OR, 2 years of directly related non-military technical trade school or the equivalent experience, along with an additional 6 years of related experience is required. Industry certifications are highly preferred; field service or technical activity is preferred. OR, Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or the equivalent experience, along with an additional 2 years of related experience is required. Industry certifications are highly preferred. Field service or technical activity is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of software tools such as HyperTerminal
  • Working knowledge of test and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time. May deploy and operate with US Forces to CONUS or OCONUS field locations, including combat operations
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco commands

Salary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. Combined Salary Range: USD $32.60 - USD $34.95 /Hr. Company Overview:
