Responsibilities of the Position Include:
- Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of the ETL Pipeline
- Design, build, test and maintain complete data models capable of answering a given set of business questions using industry best practices.
- Blend data from a variety of data sources including but not limited to ERP, Databases, Excel, SharePoint, etc.
- Apply software engineering best practices to analytics code (ex: version control testing, continuous integration)
- Maintain data documentation & dictionary/definitions
- Work with business end users to understand, translate, and document data requirements for given data products
- Oversee BI tools, creating dashboards, reporting tools, and data products to business user specifications
- Train business users on how to use data visualization products
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- SQL expert, proficient in handling big data (experience with Python or R scripting languages is a plus)
- Experience in designing, analyzing, supporting, and developing data warehouse objects, data quality processes, fact and dimension tables, logical database design, dimensional modeling and ETL processes.
- Expert lvl experience with one or more BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Power BI. (Power BI strongly preferred)
- Experience working in Cloud based environment such as Azure, GCP, AWS (Azure preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, Oracle, or SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud-based data warehouses/Lakes (Azure Data Lake or Databricks Lakehouse
- Python and/or R scripting at a production level
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS),
- Data pipeline services (ex: Stitch, Fivetran)
