Apartment Housekeeper

Location: Southampton, PA

Type: Full Time

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years cleaning experience, High School or GED required.

We are hiring for a Housekeeper for The Dorchester Apartments in Southampton, PA.

Role & Responsibilities

As the Housekeeper your responsibilities will include:

• General interior/exterior cleaning of buildings and common areas
• Heavy cleaning of all “make ready” units that are leased to prospective residents.
• Clean model and vacant apartments, hallways, lobbies, employee kitchens and restrooms, corridors, leasing office, stairways, community room, resident fitness area, pool house and other work areas so that the community is professionally maintained.
• Disinfect fitness room equipment and supplies, using germicides.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Wash windows, walls, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Dust window blinds
• Sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming of floor finishes
• Replacing light bulbs and fixture components
• Collect trash, transport and empty into designated receptacle.
• Utilize a variety of cleaning tools and equipment such as mops, pails, vacuum cleaners, and push carts. Follows applicable safety precautions for the use and handling of various chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Assist Maintenance Technician with turnover process.
• Observe precautions required to protect Community and resident property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to Service Manager.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
