Job Description

Responsible for repairing & installing appliances including: Refrigerators, Freezers, Range Ovens, Cooktops, Wall Ovens, Microwaves, Dishwashers, Washers & Dryers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in appliance repair or a related field.
• Pay will depend on experience.
• Must be able to pass background check & meet screening eligibility requirements.
• Reliable transportation to work & a valid driver's license.

Skills & Attributes:

• Ability to properly & accurately diagnose & repair various appliances.
• Must have knowledge of how electricity & continuity works.
• Must provide your own tools.
• Must demonstrate an ability to work independently.
• Must have great time-management skills.
• Must be reliable & punctual.
• Great customer service & communication skills are a major bonus.
• Good personal hygiene is a must as you will be in customer's homes.

Responsibilities & Job Duties:

• Travel to customer's homes for service calls to repair appliances.
• Communicate with office as needed.
• Must provide your own tools.
• Use a dispatching app on your phone and follow pre-planned routes.
• Use the app to update job notes and upload pictures.
• Create invoices and collect payment for service calls.
• Work within rules & guidelines of a home warranty company.
• Occasionally pick up parts at local distributors.
• Possess necessary skills to be able to properly diagnose & repair various appliances.
• Be familiar with the proper & improper uses of appliances.
• Read & interpret diagrams, tech sheets & schematics of various appliances.
• Company vehicle & cell phone provided.

Schedule:

• We are open weekdays from 7am to 6pm & weekends 8am to 5pm.
• Monday through Friday shifts are available and weekends are optional.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour
