Affordable Repair Service - A division of Affordable Home Furnishings (35 locations)
Has an opening for an experienced Appliance Repair Technician in Lake Charles
This person will repair appliances for several of our customers utilizing a company owned vehicle. Repairs are performed in customer's homes and at our store locations. This opening is to service primarily Jennings, Deridder, Lake Charles, Sulphur, Beaumont, Port Arthur and Orange.
We repair a variety of consumer appliances with the bulk of them being:
- Refrigerators
- Stoves
- washers and dryers
Brands that we sell and repair are: Frigidaire, Whirlpool, GE and Crosley
We offer:
A very competitive salary. $40,000 to $50,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications:
One year experience repairing major appliances.
Diagnostic/problem solving skills.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Computer skills necessary to facilitate work orders and order inventory.
HVAC/EPA/Sealed System certification is preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to move or position products weighing up to 100 pounds without assistance.
Pass a background and drug test.
