Job description
Participate in the analysis, design, implementation of different computer applications, new and existing, designed to meet the requirements of users and administrative entities. Manage the technological applications of the Financial processes, analyzing and designing process improvements at the corporate level with the mission of standardizing the operation of the business in a single information system at a global level.
This position is primarily responsible managing the JDE modules used by the Finance functions and related applications support, maintenance, and development for Innophos. Responsible for appropriate JDE modules implementation and for assisting in maintaining and developing new JDE interfaces and/or functionality. Providing application and user support, troubleshooting, application testing, and post-implementation review of new/changed applications. Complete final testing for conformance to standards and adherence to design specifications. Lead the development of design requirements, design, test, document, and implement systems and programs associated with the Finance function. This position has responsibility for supporting the Finance function for US but at the same time providing support for any issue escalated from other sites.
This position is located at our corporate office in Cranbury, NJ and offers a hybrid schedule option of 3x/week in office and 2x/week remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive projects across more than one team, have experience managing dependencies and stakeholders from all teams. Able to take an ambiguous problem statement related to subject-matter area to drive project deliverables over multiple iterations to achieve the right outcome
- Gathering of requirements and documentation of business requirements. Translating those requirements into functional and technical design for workflows, forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, and system enhancements as they relate to JDE Finance applications
- Configure JDE finance related modules according to the defined business requirements, develop and execute test plans and scripts to ensure defect free solutions
- Develop any new interface between JDE and 3rd party applications
- Provide technical input within IT and for business issues
- Collaborate with technology resources on projects given solid understanding of current technologies and trends
- Perform unit testing, develop training material for User Testing and Training
- Research bugs and enhancements in Oracle knowledge base, review white papers and recommend solutions
- Provide production support for the JDE application and related systems and interfaces and to provide application support for the end users assisting them in effectively using JDE and handling system related inquiries and formulating enterprise solutions
- Coordinate the activities to carry out the changes to the Finance related applications through a change management
- Coordinate the execution of the business operation when a contingency occurs in the assigned processes
- Develop tools that help us validate and recover information in the event of a contingency
- Manage and develop the work plans of the assigned processes in order to achieve the objectives of the administrative areas in charge
- Advise on the new JDE development requirements for any process when required
Required Education and Experience
- BS in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering or related fields
- Preferred areas of study AR, AP, GL, Job Cost, Fixed Assets
- MS in CS or equivalent experience, MBA a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience providing system analysis and production support for a mid to large organization using JDE 9.x or above in a multi-company, multi-currency environment
- 3-5 years of experience working in Financial Management (AR, AP, GL, Multi-Currency, Manufacturing Accounting), Advanced Pricing, and Address Book modules as JDE functional analyst
- 1-3 years of system integration experience
- 5 or more years of progressive experience with applications systems and other IT technologies
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in Manufacturing industry
- Experience with JDE Upgrades
- Experience in configuring JDE processing options for applications and batch jobs, understand JDE Job batches dependencies
- Experience with 3rd party systems like Concur, Black Line, Coupa, Medius etc.
- Advanced experience with SQL
- Experience with various JDE integration tools: z-files, staging table, BSSV, EDI
- Experience with BI publisher, JDE Orchestrator, and other features of JDE 9.2
