Job Description:

• **Position Update: Candidates must have SSRS expertise. (SAS preferred, but not required. SSRS should be the focus of your recruiting efforts.)

• SQL Developer experienced with reporting tool SSRS

Duties:

• Analyze SAS reports and convert them to SSRS by referencing crosswalk mappings between systems

• Analyze SSRS reports and convert the data source from one source to another using referenced crosswalk mappings.

• Follow and contribute to best practices documentation

• Collaborate with the team by contributing to updated documentation

• Tuning reports and datasets to run efficiently and without error

• Recommend opportunities to consolidate or optimize design

• Test reports have the expected content and layout

• Deployment and production checkout of reports - hand off to production support.

Experience:

• **Position Update: Candidates must have SSRS expertise. (SAS preferred, but not required. SSRS should be the focus of your recruiting efforts.)

• Experience with design & build of SSRS reports that run efficiently. Candidates must have complete understanding and proficiency with SSRS.

• SQL code experience, ability to write select statements, joins, stored procedures and functions

• SQL Server Management Studio for MS SQL DBMS

• Tableau experience is preferred

• Experience with report re-platforming is preferred

• Experience with SAS reports preferred

Position Summary:

• SQL Developer experienced with reporting tool SSRS. Analyze, design, build, test, and deploy reports using standard practices.

• The candidate should be able to work independently with minimal guidance after orientation to data sources and data sets.

• The candidate must be able to reverse engineer existing code and apply the business rules to a new generation of reports.

Education:

• HS diploma required

• BA or work experience
