Assembly/Production Worker

Silver Creek Leather currently has full-time Assembly/Production worker opportunities available. This job is perfect for anyone in need of immediate work in a family friendly environment!

Silver Creek Leather Company manufactures leather craft supplies and components for distribution around the world. Our products are distributed through a variety of channels such as retail chain stores, independent specialty retailers, general craft retailers, e-commerce websites, or to other manufacturers who use our leather goods in production of their own finished products. We handle all aspects of manufacturing in our Jeffersonville, Indiana factory. At Silver Creek Leather, it’s more than just a job - we offer an opportunity to grow.

DESCRIPTION
Silver Creek Leather is looking for individuals to perform tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. This may include cutting, winding, assembly, packing, warehousing, or shipping of leather products. This position follows established standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Essential Functions include:

· Read work orders and perform work as assigned by department supervisor

· Assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw material

· Attach appropriate labels and tags to the product and packages

· Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes

· Inspect finished goods to work order and packaging standards

· Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues

· Maintain a clean and safe work area

QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires an individual who is teamwork orientated, has time management skills, demonstrates technical capabilities, and most importantly arrives to work as scheduled.

Hours per Week – 40

Pay per Hour - $14.00 - $16.00
