ASSET PROTECTION ADMINISTRATOR
The Asset Protection Administrator is responsible for answering phones, greeting guests, and aiding the administrative staff. The Receptionist is responsible for a positive, professional first impression to our visitors and assisting with inquiries as necessary. The Asset Protection Administrator will be reporting directly to the Loss Prevention Manager.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Responsible for protecting the safety of customers and must demonstrate integrity at all times.
- Receives and screens visitors, answers the telephone, maintains tracking system; refers calls or takes messages, communicates customer’s needs, and provides information and customer service in defined areas, regarding Goodwill department activities and function.
- Opens, time stamps, sorts and distributes mails; files and retrieves material in accordance with specified directions.
- Issue visitor passes and ensures visitors are appropriately escorted to the correct company representative and are not left unattended.
- Provides a variety of routine clerical and operational support to various departments, which may include customer service, receptionist duties, record-keeping, and filing.
- Monitor CCTV of the location.
- Ensure policies are followed
- Provide a safe work environment for employees and visitors, Checking IDs
- Act as the first responder to emergencies at assigned locations
- Act as evacuation specialist during an emergency/drill
- Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years’ experience in a related field
- Previous experience in general clerical or admin work preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Read and write English proficiently, or have enrolled in and are on track to successfully complete an approved ESL program
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with diverse group of individuals from a variety of educational, social and economic backgrounds
- Respects and has knowledge of cultures, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientations and age groups other than one’s own, able to work effectively with all
- Follow workplace quality and safety standards and contribute to a culture of safety
- Receptive to feedback, willing to learn and embrace continuous improvement
- Strive for high customer satisfaction, going out of the way to be helpful and pleasant
- Able to work flexible hours including but not limited to weekend and holidays
- Knowledge of how to safely operate and test household electronics
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to consistently lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
- Able to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period of time
