We are doing new and exciting things at Burlington with ground floor opportunities for you to be part of our Asset Protection Team’s brand-new Burlington Response and Investigation Center Command Center ( BRIC ), our version of a Global Secruity Operations Center (GSOC) (SOC) a premier security operations center to support our rapidly growing field team with a wide range of incident intake and response output. In this multipurposed role our BRIC Asset Protection Specialist will be working in our command center supporting the business through timely incidentresponse and follow-up, investigative support, law enforcement collaboration, and detailed analysis for theft, shortage, and safety trends. The BRIC serves as the corporate command center and liaison for corporate partners during crisis events.

Responsibilities include:

• Execute best practices and processes to support emerging risks, threats, and crisis situations.
• Respond urgently to all reported incidents from intake through communication and resolution.
• Assess and proactively identify threats and risks to company locations, associates, and assets.
• Produce information and communication updates on rapidly developing situations via insights from internal and external contacts.
• Review data and analyze POS transaction exceptions to identify behaviors that contribute to shrink utilizing “Secure 5” exception-based reporting platform.
• Participate and contribute to the progression of the internal case management process, including communication with cross functional field partners.
• Execute BRIC specific support functions associated with physical security systems and industry specific tools, that support associate safety, store security, and asset protection.
• Develop strong relationships with field partners and leverages those relationships to ensure communications are high impact, accurate, and relevant.
• Works cross-functionally with business partners; acts as a liaison between field and corporate departments. Work with business partners to provide appropriate updates while also adhering to processes during large scale crisis events.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience preferred (Criminal Justice, Communications, Finance, or Business). Candidates who do not have a degree must demonstrate a high level of expertise and proficiency in the desired skills and abilities.
• Experience managing and leading a team.
• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Problem solving and analytical ability withability to communicate with associates at all levels in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to navigate and operate multiple software platforms responsible for supportingthe BRIC initiatives, specifically exception-based reporting, and incident response/management systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and manage tasks with a high level of concern for detail.
