Job Overview
A.M. Woodland Outdoor Design in Mundelein, IL is hiring a Landscape Designer. This position produces professional landscape designs for commercial and residential clients with the ultimate goal to get projects into the installation/construction phase in a timely manner. This position will also promote and follow up on new sales opportunities. This position interacts professionally with external clients, subcontractors, vendors, village offices, and internally with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist Lead Designers with various tasks
• Provide follow-up consultations for clients to ensure landscape designs are maturing or developing as planned.
• Develop ability to problem solve and collaborate with Project Managers and Production Coordinators throughout the design process
• Develop relationships via a variety of strategies including community, business, charity, industry, or other type of event in our core identified target markets to generate new sales opportunities. May require time outside of normal business hours.
• Communicate routinely and consistently with clients, both internal and external, via phone, text, email, or other appropriate technology to maintain good communication, high standards, and positive relations.
• Use appropriate safety equipment and follow safety procedures at all times. Assures that team members also use appropriate safety equipment and following safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize projects and time management skills to meet deadlines and follow through on timelines.
• Expert in written and verbal communication skills, particularly with internal team members and clients.
• A valid Driver’s License with a good driving record is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
