Interested in starting your healthcare career by becoming a CNA? A healthcare facility near Brookings is looking for a Hospitality Aide with the full intent of becoming a CNA. The Hospitality Aide will assist and work beside CNAs a few weeks before enrolling in CNA training at no cost to you!

Pay: $14.50

Hospitality Aide Duties:

• Provide direct care to residents in a healthcare facility by performing tasks such as making beds, passing meal trays, serving food, and escorting residents to different areas within the facility.
• Label and distribute personal belongings, and assist with activity programming and stocking resident supplies.
• May perform front desk screening duties such as taking temperatures, granting health screen passes, sanitizing screening devices, and monitoring visitors.
• Perform assigned tasks efficiently and effectively while adhering to company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and professional standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and communicate effectively with other team members to ensure high-quality care for residents.

Hospitality Aide to CNA opportunity:

• Opportunity after a few weeks of working as a Hospitality Aide to enroll into CNA training program and become a NA in Training
• CNA training is provided by the facility and is free
• CNA training is 3 weeks in length

Hospitality Aide Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.
• Ability to learn infection control techniques.
• Ability to be patient, compassionate and polite.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Willing to commit to 1 year at the facility upon completion of CNA course
