The School Department is advertising the position of Assistant Dean for Summer School at Brockton High School.QUALIFICATIONS: Master's DegreeAppropriate teaching and administrative certificationsFive or more years of successful teaching and/or administrative experience.

Strong background in secondary education, teaching and curriculum instruction preferredExperience in supervising Community Schools programsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Assist Dean in supervising and evaluating classroom teachers and support staff2.Collaborate with Community Schools Director and Summer School Dean in the recruitment, interviewing and selection of staff3.Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of summer school programs and services including oversight of student discipline and attendance4.Provide leadership in needs assessment, implementing goals, providing professional development for staff, etc.5.Be responsible for and supervise an assigned area of summer school program6.Perform all related professional duties as assigned by Director of Community SchoolsCOMPENSATION: Stipend $4,500 /per contract FUNDING SOURCE: 20E, Community SchoolsPosition will be available contingent upon funding and enrollment.
