Tired of working in a negative, unsupported environment? Balanced Family Academy of Clintonville may be the place for you! BFAC is looking for wonderful new teachers to snuggle with babies in our infant classrooms. The full-time shifts are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, and 9am to 6pm. We are proud to have one of the lowest child:teacher classroom ratios in Ohio and strive for 4 teachers in our Infant classrooms and 3 teachers in our Toddler and Preschool classrooms. Having the extra help in the classroom allows our teachers to feel supported and so more time can be spent with the sweet babies.

TEACHER SUPPORT

We support our teachers! A detailed Full Circle Curriculum is provided to teachers each month and is written out in an easy step-by-step format. However, we love when our teachers want to add their special touch to classroom activities and we fully support additional creative ideas any teachers would like to add to the classroom fun. We have an onsite School Liaison whose sole task is to support teachers with curriculum activities and provide all supplies to the classroom. We provide an iPad for each classroom which is where teachers use a digital platform called Tadpoles to document each child’s day as well as pictures and videos.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

Balanced Family Academy focuses on inspiring healthy lifestyles by providing well-balanced, freshly cooked meals that include breakfast, lunch, snack, and homemade infant purees. Our incredibly talented kitchen team not only prepares meals for the children, but also creates take-and-go breakfast and lunch items and a weekly family meal available for purchase to all parents and to staff at a discounted rate. We also incorporate fun physical activities into our community by offering yoga and gym classes for the children and additional adult yoga opportunities for our staff.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

We are offering competitive pay range from $14 to $16 per hour that can be negotiated based on childcare experience and education. You can also choose to enroll in our benefits program that offers medical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days of employment. After a year of employment, we offer a 401K and a 401K matching program where we contribute up to 3% of your contributions. Our employees receive paid time off in addition to a 1 week paid holiday break during Christmas. We offer multiple different bonus opportunities that include hiring bonus, monthly above and beyond bonus, referral bonus, retention bonus, and ongoing pay increases based on performance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Our workplace dress code is casual as we want our employees to feel comfortable being on the child's level. We love showing our appreciation to our staff and frequently plan fun staff activities such as Christmas in July, paint and canvas events, summer cookouts and treat our staff to offsite outings such as Clippers games, moss art class, Pins Mechanical, and much more!
