ASSISTANT MANAGER - CONVENIENCE STORE

H&H Sport Shop is looking for result-driven Assistant Managers to be responsible for the overall management at our convenience store/gas station in Maple Lake, MN. The successful candidate will be able to manage all aspects of our convenience store area, enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals, and manage staff effectively. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in convenience store management.

Responsiblities

● Responsible for the overall operations of the convenience store including, staffing, scheduling, sales, purchases, and expenses
● Coordinate and direct the duties and schedules of the staff along with shift responsibilities
● Retain adequate inventory in all areas
● Assist customers with purchases, returns, special orders, complaints, etc.
● Manage the car wash including collecting funds, maintenance work, upkeep, etc.
● Ensure the gas pump area is in prime condition
● Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
● Uphold the interior/exterior condition of the store
● Conduct periodic team meetings to relay new information and priorities

Skills

● Proven successful experience in store management
● Strong customer service and organizational skills
● Good communication, training, and interpersonal skills
● Energetic with a positive outlook
● Ability to work in a team environment
● Ability to work days, nights, and holidays

Education:

● High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

● Convenience Store Management: 1-2 years (Preferred)
● Retail Customer Service: 1-2 years (Preferred)
