WORK CONDITIONS/HOURS

Work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment to include but not limited to: gas fryers, oven, range, slicer, mixer and food processor. Hours will vary and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Possible Working Hours: 8am – 11pm. flexible 10 hrs daily

KM RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to work in a VERY fast-paced environment with speed and efficiency
  • Preparing food in a made from scratch kitchen before and after service periods
  • Understanding and proper use of recipe and order screens
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas
  • Shift side work to include opening and closing duties and prep

Waldo’s Chicken & Beer is currently seeking an experienced kitchen manager or Manager for our new stores in the Nashville area. We are looking for an individual that has experience running a kitchen team in a high-volume setting, while demonstrating exemplary work ethic and attention to detail. Duties and responsibilities expected of this position include:

  • Contribute to Waldo’s best-in-class status
  • Control timeliness, consistency and quality of customer orders
  • Maintain exemplary safety and sanitation practices
  • Manage food waste and cost of goods sold
  • Inventory restaurant and build order guides and prep sheets
  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff
  • Work with brand management on continued staff education and training
  • Assist in the training and development of kitchen staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and inventory areas

Overtime often available:

  • No its Salary position

Working days: Flexible. 50 hrs work week
