Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Manager to join Sunglass City. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall store operations and ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided. Your exceptional leadership skills, strong business acumen, and genuine enthusiasm for luxury products will contribute to the success of our store and the satisfaction of our valued clientele.
Responsibilities:
Customer Experience: Create a welcoming and personalized environment for customers, providing exceptional service and assisting with product selection to meet their individual needs.
Sales Management: Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, analyzing sales data, and developing strategies to drive revenue growth. Train and motivate sales associates to meet and exceed sales goals.
Team Leadership: Assist in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team. Encourage a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service and teamwork.
Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, cash handling, and loss prevention. Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
Product Knowledge: Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the luxury sunglass market, brands, and product features. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to effectively communicate product information to customers and the sales team.
Reporting and Analysis: Assist with generating sales reports, analyzing key performance indicators, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to the Store Manager for informed decision-making.
Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the store and brand with professionalism, embodying its values and image. Act as a brand advocate by sharing product knowledge, participating in marketing initiatives, and engaging with customers both in-store and online.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of retail management experience, preferably in luxury retail or a similar high-end fashion environment.
Sales and Customer Service Skills: Proven track record of driving sales, meeting targets, and delivering exceptional customer service. Able to build strong customer relationships and provide personalized experiences.
Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment. Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop staff members' performance and professional growth.
Product Knowledge: Passion for luxury fashion and sunglasses, with a keen eye for style and trends. Excellent product knowledge and the ability to convey this knowledge to customers and the sales team.
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Capable of managing operational tasks while prioritizing customer service and team management.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and senior management.
Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events, to accommodate the needs of the business.
