SUMMARY:

The Assistant Park Manager supports the operation of all recreational facilities, events, programs, activities, and resort adventures. Ensures Team Member courtesy, quality, safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction of the operation of such facilities and programs. The Supervisor of Recreation is the first responder during their shift for guest issues and incidents in the recreation and activities venues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly supervises the operations and staff of all Activities, Recreation, Resort Adventures and ensure complete compliance with Natura Destinations safety, service, and grooming standards.
• Proven ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Ensures an environment where the safety of guests and team members are the priority. Predicting, preventing, identifying, and responding to safety issues.
• Supervises the operation of all activities and makes day to day operational decisions that benefit guests, team members and the business.
• Resolves guest concerns and interacts with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Identifies the developmental needs of others and coaches, mentors, or otherwise helps others to improve their knowledge or skills.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and serve as a role model for performance excellence.
• Prepares seasonal recreation activity schedules and participates in the planning and development of holiday and special event programs.
• Supports local projects and monitors any potential impacts on the guest experience.
• Inspects the general appearance and functionality of all activities/ recreation spaces including sanitation, temperature, lighting, and musical elements.
• Orders and manages necessary supplies. Ensures workers have supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms necessary to do their jobs.
• Coordinates training activities for employees in department.
• Ability to work a varied schedule to include evenings and weekends depending on season and activities.
• All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, stand and walk for long periods of time, and perform repetitive movements using wrists, knees and back.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Must always be able to maintain and present a professional appearance. Dells Resorts grooming and personal hygiene requirement is to wear the proper issued clean uniform and name badge.
• A professional attitude and the ability to handle pressure with poise and finesse is always required.
• Must be honest and dedicated.
• Must possess excellent time management skills and be on time for work.
• Must be a team player and able to provide superior customer service.
• Must be able to work weekends and Holidays.
