The Uftring Auto Group consists of eleven automotive franchises at six car dealerships in Peoria, East Peoria, Washington and North Pekin, Illinois. Responsibilities

• Create good public relations
• Greet and assist with customers - communicate to determine their needs
• Receive incoming service calls and make required outbound calls
• Schedule and track service appointments
• Progress check and selling of repairs
• Perform walk around inspections on wiper blades, turn signals, marker lights
• Assist with opening R.O.’s, submitting Extended Warranties, and selling and tracking used car work
• Promote GM surveys
• Deliver approved estimates or parts to assigned technician
• Keep service drive clear by moving and parking vehicles
• Learn loaner car system and create contracts for customer; learn loaner car check in and out process
• Assist with taking customer vehicles to Car Wash
• Obtain new customers
• Update and purify customer records
• Secure updated customer information
• Obtain customer information, email, phone, warranty information or method of payment
• Achieve performance standards established by department manager

Qualifications

• Interest in automotive career
• Ability to interact with customers with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Excellent communication skills and pleasant phone voice
• Excellent listening skills
• Computer skills required with above average typing skills
• Customer service experience
• Previous phone/telemarketing experience preferred
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Organized individual that is friendly and outgoing
• Strong work ethic
• Be reliable and have a proven track record
• Neat professional appearance
• Ability to walk and stand on hard surface for majority of shift

Hours

• Monday through Friday: 8AM-5PM
