Teal’s Market is a growing family-owned grocery business that operates locations in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. We are currently seeking an Assistant Store Manager/Grocery Manager for our Sisseton, SD location.
- The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in overseeing all day-to-day operations, including but not limited to achieving sales, gross profit, and labor goals in the Grocery Department.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling all store personnel.
- Promote a friendly, enthusiastic culture within the store.
- In the absence of the Store Manager communicate policies, procedures, sale promotions and other directives to associates relating to their job duties and responsibilities.
- Assist in overseeing department managers while working the grocery department to ensure proper ordering, merchandising, display building, labor scheduling, and setting retails.
- We're looking for someone who understands the role of an Assistant Store Manager with retail grocery experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about retail and customer service.
- Weekend and holiday hours are expected. Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
